Best hotel in Lagos

Posted 29 Dec 2021 on Hotels
This hotel does not do business with hotels.com any longer, but I would 100% recommend it as a private pay option. Best hotel I encountered here in Nigeria.

Potential with a few tweeks

Posted 17 Dec 2016 on Hotels
This hotel is a lot like other local hotels(I've been to a few) except no in-service hotel kitchen staff on Sunday, which forces guest to seek food outside the hotel. Also some food items were a bit overpriced compared to even local chain fast food in the area. Example water was 300nGN at the hotel when same size bottle was 50ngn just literally across the street. Also airport shuttle was not booked as requested at check-in which made us scramble at last minute for transportation. Also being in the hotel/service business sometimes its not the issue that matters more so than how the staff handles the issue. We had an issue with bleeding chicken that wasn't taken care of but said to be "soft chicken" I've been cooking many many years never heard or "soft" or "hard" chicken, raw is raw and to me could have been handled better. He did offer to recook it, which is a health issue and could cause stomach illness. But I have to say the ladies at the front desk were very nice and answered all my questions. I have to say this with a few changes and some training for the staff. I honestly think this hotel has GREAT potential to be a Hidden Gem in Lagos, Ikeja I could write more, but I will leave things at this..
