We stayed in room 319. Room was cosy and reasonably well appointed, althoughthere was a distinct lack of mirrors, no bedside lamp on one side. Bathroom was cramped. The hotel was once a historic building. One the ground floor the dining room was spacious and the breakfast offering very good. They use proper plates and cutlery unlike a lot of hotels. A good selection of hot and cold food on offer. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pool outside was good but located right next to a busy junction, so at times very noisy. Stays automatically qualify for their friends and family loyalty awards, so the next stay gets you better rates and a free room upgrade if booked direct. Would stay again

This was a great stay! Excellent service. It is evident that it’s an older hotel but that is actually part of the charm. The location is ideal and the breakfast was way above par. Will definitely stay there again.
