One night stay
Posted 27 Aug 2013We arrived late but were still offered dinner which was absolutely delicious.
The room was a little basic but spacious, clean & the bed was extremely comfortable.
The owners/staff were extremely friendly & welcoming, & most importantly, were happy to converse in English.
We would have happily stayed for longer & would not hesitate to book again if visiting.

Quiet hotel, full of charm
Posted 19 Sep 2012 on HotelsWe were looking for a quiet break on our way home after our holiday, with a good restaurant on site, that wasn't a chain hotel. On arrival the staff were very friendly, clean, and was full of charm. Attached restaurant was excellent, the food was really tasty although very "French" so expect fois gras, terrine's etc. Service at the meal was a little slow, but with wine, who cares!!! Location of the hotel was beautiful, in a cool forest location not too far from the N10.

Pros: The grounds and building.
Cons: Some touches to the bathromm and room.
Location: Well situated, relaxing and green !
A warm greeting after arriving late so we could only appreciate the lovely location the next day before leaving ! Well situated character building whose restaurante we´d have liked to have tried given more time.

Pros: The restaurant - absolutely fantastic
Cons: The bathroom - had to rund the hot water for 10minutes before it reach temperature
Location: Beautiful, the Manor is set in lovely parkland and it is very peaceful
The hotel is off the beaten track and has a wonderful ambiance of old world elegance. The staff are very friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend dining here as the food is of outstanding quality.
A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Hotel is in dire need of upgrade. Our room was very tired, bed was lumpy & pillows so flat as to be non existant. The floor in our room was uneven and had a bad sag. Very little toilet paper - infact we ran out ! Bathroom shampoo etc. was miserly. However the welcome was warm, dinner was excellant but breakfast was meagre (even by french standards). Would not recommend the accommodation.
