"Great location, clean and well serviced. I didn't pay attention to how many stars (2) when I booked, so was a bit shocked when I learned about it later. This place far exceeded my expectations. Front staff spoke enough English and I spoke enough French that everything was great. I arrived early and they stored by luggage for me. Also, they booked a cab for early early AM pickup for me. This place is a gem!"

"A beautiful property with gorgeous views and incredibly kind hosts. Would definitely recommend eating at the restaurant as the food is truly amazing. The auberge is a very cute and quaint, the rooms are large very clean with their own bathrooms. Really enjoyed our stayed and we will try to come back! "

"Nice, Clean, Quiet, Modern Hotel for a stopover in Brest. We were touring around the Brittany Coast, and we stayed here for one night, on our way from Morlaix, en route to Quimper. This hotel has all you would expect from a Mercure. Location-wise, it is a 5 mins drive / 15 mins walk from the city centre, and the start of the cafes (recommend Kafé Kanggui), coffee shops & shopping area that begins on Rue Louis Pasteur and runs up Rue Jean Jaurès. "

"I arrived quite late in the evening due to a canceled flight. Pierre, the night attendant was so very nice, accommodating and professional. He made sure the process of check-in went smoothly. He even prepared me a late night meal as I had eaten a day, all at 1 AM in the morning. At 6:30 in the morning when I had to depart, Pierre was still there working hard. Pierre is quality and compliments this property. THANK YOU!"

"This was a good location. I stayed here with my mom. We found it convenient to walk into downtown from the hotel. I was happy that there was free off street parking. That was the deciding factor me in the end. The front desk provided excellent service. Every question I had, they were gracious and helpful. There are a few cosmetic issues - peeling plaster or paint in the shower in one room and a broken bedside light in the other, but the nice location and parking lot parking mattered WAY...

"Area is very industrial, however walking distance to really nice restaurants & bars. Location near airport, & motorway, so great for convenience but be prepared for noise. Good location - 20 minute drive to town centre and beaches. Hotel property condition is tired, in need of some tlc. Rooms were adequate. Hotel staff very polite, helpful and friendly. "This does appear to have once been a grand hotel, but it has since been neglected. While the entrance area and staircase still look impressive, the room was in poor repair, with a dated 1980s/90s feel. However, it was spacious, with a Nespresso coffee machine and two BBC English channels. The breakfast room was grim and the food average. Overall, too expensive for the poor quality. The hotel desperately needs money spending on it."
