"Recently refurbished, very comfortable room. Pedro the manager was excellent and very helpful. Pool area better than in the photos, much bigger than expected. Table tennis table a nice touch and whirlpool in the corner of the pool. Three washing machines (and tablets) available to use at any time. Ample basement parking. "Nice hotel, clean and adequate room, although it needs updating. Unfortunately it’s the area around the hotel that lets it down. I witnessed 3 separate muggings on the street - including an older couple who were staying at the hotel. Not enough police presence. Unpleasant place to stay when you cannot relax. "I have stayed in this hotel on a previous visit to Fuengirola. I decided to book it again because it is a very clean, comfortable hotel in an excellent location being only 5 minutes walk from the train and bus stations and only 2 minutes from the beach. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Check in was quick and easy. The room I got on this visit, however, was not as spacious or bright as on my previous visit. There was no wardrobe, only an exposed hanging rail with just 2 hangers on it....

"We were pleasantly surprised with our experience. Given the price, we did not expect much but as we needed a place to sleep and go in the morning all we hoped for was a clean, safe place. The Hotel Marbella's staff was friendly and helpful, the room was small but clean (and all in all what we actually needed for this 1 night) and the bathroom was spotless. The hotel is a few minutes to the beach with plenty of restaurants nearby. Considering the price, I believe the hotel over-delivered."
