The hostel was in a convenient spot near the border of Gibraltar. And the hostel is located in a nice street with lots of restaurants. When we arrived in the room our airconditioning was not working properly so the lady at the front desk offered us a new room which was very nice of her. We were not properly informed about the parking situation and therefor we had to pay €25 for parking instead of €7. The staff does not speak very good english so communicating can be a challenge. Once we had a complaint the owner did not want to help us and instead send us to the police, not very friendly for the guest.

Good location, but not a pleasant stay
Posted 22 Dec 2021 on HotelsGood location not far from the bus station and the Gibraltar border.
Room rather simple and had an unpleasant smell. I later found out the smell seemed to be made by a/c running so despite not very warm temperature I rather didn't use it. While the room itself was fairly clean, the shutters when closed or the a/c (moving parts were broken off so I could see inside) had a lot of dirt.
I only booked one night and didn't really feel good there and for another night in town I moved to another hotel.
Not a good value for my money, I'd say.

Better than I expected!
Posted 30 Aug 2021 on HotelsThe place was simple but completely adequate for staying close to the border. They cleaned really well each night. The laundromat there was great to have, we were on a long trip and washed everything as this was our midway stop. The blankets are dated style. Please note this is a hostel not a hotel, we had private bathroom but not all rooms do so there are common bathrooms people use at night mostly. (We were traveling on a tight budget)
Five minute walk to border control of Gibraltar.
And staff was so helpful and friendly!
