Great stay

Valerie and Laurent are wonderful hosts, and make you feel welcome from the moment you walk through the door. The Chateau is as perfect as a French House should be.

Everything about my stay at the Chateau du Plessis was magnificent. The owners are kind and welcoming, the hotel and grounds beautiful, peaceful and tranquil. The food and dining experience wonderful. The room and decor could not be more perfect. My time at the Chateau du Plessis is the best experience I have ever had. In intend to return. It is a small piece of paradise.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Communication between hotel & Expedia regarding payment
Location: Only stayed one night en route to Caen to catch the ferry back to UK. Very comfortable & a very welcome stop. Would not hesitate to recommend it
Excellent hosts with very good facilities. The meal was outstanding as was the breakfast the next morning. Room quiet, clean and very comfortable.
Swimming pool very welcome in the hot weather that we were enjoying.
We had a confusion regarding the bill that appears to be a mix up between the hotel & Expedia - not yet resolved.

Dear Sir,
I will disregard your insult and your value judgment towards us. When making your reservation, you took the cheapest price in "Non-refundable Basic", you did not come. Which is clearly stated by Expedia that the reservation is non-refundable. Which is a system that is used by all travel agencies, planes, trains... You are not unaware of this international rule.
Your room was ready with the extra bed. Cordially.
