Encantada Guest House: Spectacular View & Excellent Reviews Reviews

This review could not be further from the Truth..This is crazy! 1. The step ladder is beside the Fridge, 2. The night time temps were in the high 70's at night, and every room has a ceiling fan. We never place restrictions on use of the A/C, but it is rarely needed up here in the mountains of Lake Arenal. Asking you to close the windows first, before turning it on is not unreasonable. Electricity is very expensive here. 3. We have NEVER entered the Guesthouse unannounced, when guests are at home and when guests are out for the day or evening, only then to repair something or assess some issue. 4. You took a shower first and it was fine. But we told you that the shower was new as of just before you checked-in and to let us know if you had any problems. When it failed, we invited your wife to use the shower in the BnB. We even gave her a robe to use because she came up in a towel. AFTER the shower, Marty asked how the shower was and she said it was great! He was NOT outside leering below the very high window. He was passing in the corridor and only spoke to her as she came by him. I heard him, clearly because I was in the laundry room next door. Suggesting he was doing something untoward is slanderous and vile. It openly shows where your mind resides. Yes...the toilet got clogged and YOUR wife admitted and apologized for putting so much paper in it. And finally, unbeknownst to us, you had ordered an in-house massage for 9:00 am, and when the lady came to set up, Marty simply went down and knocked to tell you that she was here. He did not know you were still sleeping. You were incredibly rude! He did ask why you were getting a 90 minute massage when check out was just 1 hour away at 10am. You had not asked for a late check-out and since we had new guests arriving that afternoon, it was important for you to understand that check out was at 10am not 11am as you so foul-mouthedly insisted. Your belligerent and unprovoked verbal abuse included hurling f-bombs and name calling at Marty. Such abhorrent behavior was shocking and frightening and he feared you might become violent. Had you not packed up and left immediately, I would have called the Police and had you removed. In dealing with guests from all over the world for over ten years and having dozens upon dozens of 5 star reviews, we have never had a guest as rude and disrespectful as you were. We do have all of the Whatsapp conversations with you, in which you repeatedly said that everything was wonderful and that you guys were really enjoying your stay. Your wife even said she was going to recommend our place to your Mother. We constantly strive to be responsive and attentive Super-hosts and according to your texts, you guys were OK with, and grateful for, the work around when the shower issue came up. That issue and the toilet plug were taken care of within an hour. There was never any cause for your to react so vehemently because Marty woke you and up until that moment, we thought you were h
