Good location and friendly staff

Pros: Very nice staff at reception
Cons: It just needs a makeover and a bit more honesty about the room sizes etc
Location: Location very nice and convenient for the town
The hotel feels more like a youth hostel. For the price this is not acceptable. The room was tiny and nothing like advertised pictures, the bathroom was horrible and would benefit from an update, towels felt ancient and cheap. Everything about the hotel just feels cheap, apart from the price!!

In fact we are not dishonest about our room sizes, because there are no room sizes!
We are terribly sorry if it did not feel like what you expected, we are a 2 stars hotel in the middle of France, we do our best to make it better than it could be, do the repairs when needed and do the refit when we can but it takes times and money! We apply the standard rate for a 2 stars hotel and all our equipment (swimming-pool, wifi, fitness room) are included in the price. We continue to do our best to satisfy our customers anytime and therefore we look cautiously at the reviews and meanwhile we keep the smile :-)

Overpriced and not as described

Pros: On road parking, so we could park our car just outside the hotel and it could be seen from our room.
Cons: The bed, the bedding and the ventilation of the room. The pool was misleading
Location: The hotel was within walking distance of the bars, restaurants and shops in the Bourboule area.
The room was a lot smaller than it appeared on the advertised photos. The shower cubicle was very dirty with mouldy grout, and the toilet seat was broken. The double bed was nothing more than a put-up-bed and very uncomfortable. The heat in the room was unbearable, we even had to ask at reception to turn one of the heaters off, but the room was still very hot. Unfortunately the pool didn't offer the same heat, in fact it was to cold to be comfortable to swim never mind sit in the jacuzzi. Very unpleasant having cold water bubbling around you! The pool was also a lot smaller than it look on the photos. Unfortunately this hotel was over priced for the room and the facilities it offered.

Séjour de 8 jours cet été. Bon emplacement, personnel très accueillant et sympathique. Seul bémol : il a fait très chaud, et pas de ventilateur.

Posted 20 Aug 2024 on HotelsLa chambre est agréable, propre , elle sent bon , la salle de bain et les toilettes sont très propres, nous avions une chambre sur la rue très passante, et bien nous n'avons entendu aucun bruit , même la nuit!
Le lit était confortable, et se mettre dedans était d'une légèreté absolue, les serviettes de toilettes étaient correctes, le petit savon et le gel douche étaient posé sur la tablette , avec les verres a dent, de la moquette au sol , un peu usée mais passante,bref Nous avons passé une agréable nuit dans cet hôtel, je recommande vivement,
