Friendly staff/inconvenient location/amenities OK
Posted 5 Jun 2024 on HotelsNot an ideal location if you plan to use public transit to visit Lyon. Our cab from the train station was 70 euro, and in hindsight we could have stayed in just as nice of a hotel closer to the city after considering the price we had to pay in transportation.
There was no one at reception when we checked in (during regular hours), my cell phone couldn’t connect to the assistance number so luckily our taxi driver allowed us to use his phone so we could call to be checked in. When the worker arrived at reception he was friendly and spoke fluent English.
We visited in early June and our room was warm and damp with no option for AC because the weather wasn’t hot enough. We also expected to avail of the pool displayed in the photos for this hotel however the pool was closed. It must only be open during a specific time frame however, this time frame was not mentioned in the listing.
Overall we had a mostly comfortable stay and the staff was nice, however the amenities were not as expected and the location was not convenient for the price.

I am very surprised to read the content of your message. Indeed, it is before booking a hotel that you must ask yourself the questions and look at the location of the hotel. You came to attend the Taylor Swift concert, a period during which hotel prices in Lyon Center were between 400 and 1500 euros per night. You paid 220 euros per night because you booked via a website with increased rates. We cannot be held responsible. Finally for the air conditioning, it is 18/20 degrees in the rooms currently and 14 degrees at night. Air conditioning is not yet necessary. Think about the planet and the negative effects of excessive use of air conditioning. In addition, some customers recently asked for the heating to be turned back on.... Finally, the swimming pool is not open in rainy weather, which was the case when you arrived. The other days it was open

France roadtrip

Nice friendly staff, feels like a family run hotel. Nice room with all you need for a two night stay. Quiet location and good bed, we had a very enjoyable stay.

Great location
Posted 30 Aug 2018 on HotelsThe hotel is based very close to Lyon St Exupery Airport, and the A6/A42 motorway junction - so very easy to get to
It's down a cul-de-sac so nice and quiet
Parking is good
They had a garage to lock bicycles away - thats important for me
Friendly people
Good breakfast (extra charge)
Didn't realise they did food (dinner) until the morning - so walked to a nearby town

Comfortable and quiet.
Posted 16 Jun 2018 on HotelsStopped over here 3 times now, quite convenient and has a pool. Rooms are very good and hotel is just off the motorways. Hotel manager is quite abrupt if a little rude but if you can get over that it's very relaxing. Would stay again but there are better places.

I do not think I am abrupt with my clients, but when a family with 3 children does not respect the tranquility of other guests, I am obliged to make the remark. I'm sorry you did not like it, but it seemed to me necessary after three remarks. By cons you had booked the apartment and I upgraded you in our beautiful suite of 70m2 for you to be nice.
I think I have fulfilled my mission of hotelier respectful of the customer.

Little place is very nice and staff were very friendly. Surrounding area is not much of anything, but it is not far from the airport, so convenient for pre or post travel.
