Friendly staff and surrounded by amenities
Posted 28 Jan 2019 on HotelsFriendly receptionist lady during check in. Simple room but had a nice sleep. The hotel is surrounded by a supermarket and some other shops. McDonald’s is right next to hotel.

Basic room but friendly staff

Pros: Friendly and courteous - happy to order taxis for me and spoke good English. Explained local bus routes and the stops I'd need.
Cons: If the rooms were re-done, it would be a great place to stay.
Location: It is above a McDonald's! Based in an industrial area and close to main roads into Cannes, but didn't suffer from road noise. Not much nearby to enjoy
It did the job, but doesn't impress. The price was good, it was accessible by taxi from the centre of Cannes and along good bus routes which are easy to work out. The room was very, very basic. A television on the wall, wooden bench and plastic chair, and two bedside tables are all you get aside from the bed. The bathroom does its job and was clean, although could do with redecorating and a new bath. The shower didn't seem to work (or I couldn't work it out) and the water didn't run very fast from either the sink or bath taps. Bed was good size, easily a double, and mattress seemed to be a memory foam one. Very comfy.

Not good at all
Posted 1 Jan 2014 on HotelsThe a/c was not working and the front desk knew it when we checked in. We had a very cold night there in that small room. The lights in the hall walk were controlled by sound but we had to jump to vibrate the wall. As a result, the building seemed to be a ghost mansion. So it was really bad to choose this hotel unless you have no choice.

Posted 23 May 2013 on HotelsThis hotel was just ok. The room was a bit smelly. The staff was nice but some didn't speak english. I loved the fact that macdonalds was in the same building. I was there for the film festival and macdonalds was the cheapest food you could get at that time. The location is ok normaly. Easy to catch a bus downtown. Just bus nr.20. But during the festival it's almost impossible to catch that. So many people. The taxi cost from 20 to 30€. Supermarket near by. Great Chinaese buffey near the hotel. Internet connection a bit poor, but worked most of the time.Reomend it for budget traveler.
