The host was very friendly. The house is the best place to stay you can find in Uji.

Good location, 5 mins walk to Byodoin and Byodo-in Omotesando Road. Relax and comfortable stay at Uji and Kirinya hostel but the facilities of the hostel are considered old. Good for 1 night stay.

The best place I've stayed at so far in Japan. Helpful owner, clean and comfortable beds, and an overall great experience.
