This hotel is PERFECT. I know that sounds like hyperbole. But I mean it. The staff is AMAZING. So friendly and helpful. The hotel is located where all the action is. Food, Shopping, entertainment all with in walking distance. I found where I will stay when I come to Kyoto.

stunning modern hotel in the center of everything. The famous market is right next door and shops are literally everywhere. Lots of restaurants in the area. The room was large and the view was incredible. The washer/dryer in the room was a great addition. But the most amazing thing was the extremely friendly staff. We will definitely be back. This place was the best hotel we stayed at in Japan by far! Amazing service and staff. The location was right by transit and the popular Nishiki Market and Pontocho Alley. Plus, free coffee, tea and sake (in the evenings) in the lobby! I've already recommended this hotel to my family and friends.

This hotel was very expensive compared to our others in Japan. Whilst convenient to the markets and dining options it wasn’t the best place to stay for the temples and sights that we were in Kyoto to see. The room was tiny and cave like with no housekeeping other than towel changes each day - I would probably not choose this one again as just think there is better value elsewhere.

Loved our stay in Kyoto at this hotel! It’s located right on top of a donut shop and a walk away from several restaurants and stores. The room was spacious and service was great. I’d definitely come back!

We were pleasantly surprised with the niceness of this hotel. It looks pretty generic from the picture, but it's decorated quite nicely inside. The room is small but comfortable. There actually was more room than I was expecting. The bathroom reminds me of a cruise ship bathroom, but was fine. The staff were very friendly and there are a lot of toiletries available in the lobby which came in handy because I had left a few things at the previous hotel in a drawer. The only negative was that we had booked this specifically because it had a washing machine, but the washing machine kept going into an error state after a load. We did one load, then in the morning it wouldn't start and had an error. I reported it to the front desk, and they said they would fix it. It worked that night, but again in the morning it was in error. We had a lot of laundry we had planned to do, but were unable to, unfortunately.
