I recently stayed at Sakura Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect, just a short walk from major attractions, which made exploring the area so easy. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making check-in a easy and always ready to help with any questions. The room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and great amenities. Overall, I would highly recommend Sakura to anyone looking for a pleasant stay. I’m definitely looking forward to returning in the future!

Staff were super helpful and courteous. Very convenient to Kiyomizu-dera and other Higashiyama-Gion temples, shrines, shopping, and Maikoya geisha tea house. Bit noisy (fire station next door), furniture a bit stained and worn, but wonderful at the price. Small kitchenette poorly stocked (now bowls?).

Lovely, clean hotel and friendly staff, they were very welcoming and I rate them highly. Unfortunately the only small negative is that our room was facing onto a big main busy road and so we did not sleep much due to the noise.
