It was great! Overall experience was great - check in staff, free shuttle to hotel, communication, room itself. Only thing is that there was a used but dried towel hanging on the shower rack from previous tenants or cleaning staff

The hotel staff were very kind and helpful to us during our stay and answered any questions/concerns we had promptly.
My daughter accidentally dropped her earring down the bathroom sink and the hotel staff went out of their way to help us retrieve it! Very impressed by how helpful they were!
Also, really convenient that the hotel is very close to several Daily Yamazaki/7Eleven/Family Mart. My family was able to grab snacks, coffee, and desserts at any time! And the downtown shopping area is nearby at a walkable distance from the hotel.
Another nice amenity was that, at the end of our stay we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel upon checkout and lock it up free of charge! Very cool amenity to have so hotel guests can further enjoy/explore Kyoto.
Overall, really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would stay here again!

Amazing location. Walkable to restaurants, shops and trains. Our room was quiet, comfortable and clean.

Bed was uncomfortable. One side of the bed felt sunk down and gave me a few aches in the morning (thanks alcohol). Other side was fine. Overall, the space was large and the accommodations were nice.
