Love this property. We had difficulty understanding how
to use washer and dryer as well as air cleaner. It would be have been nice if someone walked us up to our rooms and showed us how to use these appliances when we arrived. The property is very serene but it is too dark, which made it difficult to safely see where I was walking.maybe better for younger clients.

Excellent, clean, quiet, comfortable hotel in the heart of the Sanjo area, with easy access to local markets, two subway lines, and local attractions. Very friendly staff. And the Hiba wood bathtub smelled amazing and was great for soaking after long days of walking the area. We didn’t want to leave!

I stayed here for 6 nights and really enjoyed the experience. The room was spacious and clean. Located in a nice area in Kyoto. Highly recommend!

Very friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room. Great location Hinoki cypress bath is fantastic. Washer/dryer combo is bonus, but it is really hard to figure out hard to operate it Even though I am Japanese myself, I googled to get the operating manual from manfacturer.

In the beginning I booked it for its beautiful bath tub and the fact it had a washer/dryer, but then the location and access to everything was the cherry on top. Great location with lots nearby!

This hotel was an absolutely amazing during our time in Kyoto. It was clean, spacious, and relaxing. The individual onsen in our room was an added bonus. We will definitely come back and stay for our next Kyoto trip!
