We utilized this hotel as our base in the Kansai area. It is sooo convenient to Kyoto station. Plus, it's a super short walk to Higashi Honganji, which is also worth a visit.
The staff were friendly and the room (we had a Japanese style room for 5 people) worked great for us.
If you are visiting Kyoto area, this is definitely a place I'd recommend. There are also several nice coffee shops within walking distance-- we enjoyed the coffee culture in Kyoto. Of course, most importantly is the proximity to everything in the area.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to check in a little early, and also watched our luggage after checkout so we could walk around a bit more. Spacious, clean, and quiet rooms. Would definitely stay again.

It’s about 10 minutes away from Kyoto Station so it’s quite convenient to walk around in the city and there’s a lot of convenient shop nearby! The staff are friendly and speak quite fluent English so communication may not be a problem here. All the instruction on the laundry and toilet usage have English translation which are very useful for tourist ! Definitely worth every penny !

Staff are very helpful. Room is spacious comfortable and clean. In-room washer dryer combo machine is convenient for a long trip.
