Location, location, location. This stay was great for us, the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. You are less than a block from the main shopping street in Kyoto and within walking distance to some main attractions, access to a metro and bus stop within a block that can take you pretty much anywhere without changing routes. The room is on the smaller side even to japan standards but can't complain.

Very good location in busy busy area. Close to train stations/bus stops. Small room as expected. Walls thin so we could hear snoring through night.

Hotel was great, beautiful easy to find. Close to the station and very walkable. A lot of restaurants and shopping around de area. Room was modern, clean and comfortable. Satff was super nice! Very happy with our stay :)

Ac wasn’t working in room staff made aware twice and did nothing, wouldn’t let us switch rooms either they said all rooms were like that AC wise and if that is the case definitely not worth staying during the summer maybe winter
