Posted 8 May 2024 on HotelsVery steep and narrow stairs up to bedrooms - have to walk sideways. Unable to take luggage up there. No laundry facilities although advertised. The location was convenient.

Great little house, close by to temples and parks with cherry blossoms. Great array of restaurants nearby.

The home was clean and had wifi. Despite previous reviews that there were a lack of cooking and washing up utensils, they will still insufficient and we had to source our own. Sadly, the property manager would not help us book a taxi from the accommodation to the station so we struggled with our suitcases on a main road for 25 minutes before we could get a taxi to accept our fare to the Shinkansen station. This is a narrow, more traditional property better suited to Japanese people than westerners.

We are sorry about the lack of cooking utensils, that was our miss. For booking taxi, we had tried calling 10 different taxi companies but none of them had available taxi due to the on-season. We apologize that we can’t be of help.
