apartment-like stay by Kamo River in Kyoto
Posted 14 Jul 2024 on HotelsOur room at Aoi Hotel was very spacious, with a balcony the size of some budget hotel rooms and overlooking the Kamo River. The room gets daily cleaning and restocking, but the reception/concierge is not really present (they can be summoned with a phone call from the front desk).
Overall, a unique, high-quality hotel in an excellent location.

Thank you for staying at Aoi Hotel Kyoto.As our hotel is located along the Kamo River, you can see the river from the terrace of your room. (You cannot see it from rooms 402/403)There is no staff at the front desk on the first floor, but if you have any questions, please contact a staff member from your room or the front desk on the first floor and we will assist you.As it is located in the city center, it is very convenient for sightseeing and shopping.Thank you for posting a review.All our staff look forward to welcoming you again.Aoi Hotel Kyoto

Fantastic boutique review...great for couples
Posted 26 Feb 2020 on HotelsGreat boutique style with awesome amenities. The river view is amazing and kudos to Misato at the front desk who went above and beyond throughout the check-in process and helped translate all the little bottons in the room.
