Goodness us…. PLEASE treat yourself and stay at least one night in this beautiful traditional hotel with its own onsen! We had a superbly decorated very very very large traditional room (tatamis), a view of the little port and the sea of Japan with sunset…. And we discovered once there that one could book their private onsen! Oh and yes, it’s ‘only’ a 100 years old family hotel…. Don’t forget to check their ‘souvenirs table’ of locally or Japan made goodies to take home. The friendliness and discretion of the front desk people is exemplary. This was part of the highlight of our holidays in Japan. Thank you so much for offering such a beautiful hotel to us visiting tourists. We wish you only the best for years to come!

Great service. Included complimentary car service to the local Izakaya restaurant. We used the Onsen twice. Lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great for a day or two stop over to relax.

We loved the quiet location. The building was 100 years old and very nicely preserved. The spa was perfect and the staff members were all very helpful and kind. The food was 5 star!

コンセプト最高！

宿泊当日は台風接近もあり、キャンセルが続出していたようでフロントが対応に追われていました。ホテルに取っては大損害でしょうがお陰様で温泉も貸切り風呂状態で利用出来るなど、ゆったりと滞在を楽しむことが出来ました。ちなみに貸切風呂もあります。お風呂も昭和初期をイメージしたどこか懐かしさを感じさせる設えになっています。露天風呂のあるお風呂とジャングルww風呂のようなお風呂を朝と夜で男女で入れ替えています。屋号の昭恋館はコンセプトが昭和を恋しむ館なんだと宿泊して納得しました。部屋はやや古さも目立ち、コンセントの位置もスマホ充電にはやや不便でしたが、そんなことは些細なことで、朝ご飯も最高で大満足でした。
