I understand why others have rated this property poorly however I suspect they had high expectations. Whilst my room was not perfect it was perfectly adequate with plenty of hot water, a bed and a TV. All I needed for a single night stay for work.
The local area isn't great for getting supplies so arrive with everything you need. Other than that have a cheap stay with nice views, or pay double elsewhere if you need the luxuries.

Poorly maintained hotel. We didn’t had hot water the next day. Not worth your time and money.

For the cost, I was expecting more. Very small, very dated rooms and uninspiring dining room/restaurant.

Breakfast was good. Staff seemed to be new and not ready yet. New owners? Maybe they will get better?

This hotel is not worth the money. It's clean and comfortable enough but not worth what they charge. The location is convenient for exploring skye and Lockalsh but the hotel is not nice. We saw two staff members doing literally all the jobs. I don't blame them. We had a remarkably bad and overpriced meal there

Property is in serious need of an upgrade. Walls and baseboards are banged up and in terrible condition. There is a musty smell in the property. Our room was on the top floor and it was impossibly hot. Couldn’t open the window but front desk person had it opened. Once open it was impossible to close but thankfully it never got cold enough to be a bother.
