Property itsself was decent. Restaurants do close early but there is a restaurant in the hotel itsself. Parking was no issue!

The size of the room and bathroom are great - very spacious! The night staff was super efficient and very friendly. The hotel presents as being old and outdated. The furniture is banged up. The bed is so uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on a rock. Parking is limited.

This is a charming small hotel that serves as a perfect home base for exploring the surrounding area and the Isle of Skye. This property is a good location if you are taking the train or the bus. We went to the hotel early after getting off the bus and felt like asking them to keep our luggage was an imposition . However when we did check in at three it was smooth and welcoming. Rooms are fine but walls are thin so you hear everything! Bar in hotel opens at four but no food until 5:15. Good breakfast buffet in the morning !

I needed a hotel next to the train station for early departure and is only a few hundred yards from station and bus stop so ideal for foot passengers. Coop supermarket within similar distance up a small climb. Old fashioned pub hotel spotlessly clean.

Hotel was convenient to Isle of Skye, and one of the few places to eat in town. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were small but efficient. Had a sewer gas smell in the bathrooms which was unappealing.
