I parked my vehicle at 4 AM after a long journey, no security was present, then I informed reception that I parked my car in the parking lot by the wall (I told I can leave the keys at reception if there is a problem in case) and if that would be a problem, she replied me that she does not oversee it but security, then I found security and tried to explain where I parked in English, he was not happy with it and his attitude was really aggressive whining in his native language, then he took me to the reception with anger, and reception told me it is fine where I parked...this was terrible service and attitude toward a client

The room was very small. The floor was very dirty. The bedding quality was poor. Cooler was not working. Quality was lower than a motel

Good value good locstion

Lybid is a good value. Reception staff speak English as well as some of the restaurant staff. Breakfast buffet is good with wide choice. A lot of businesspeople as well as middle eastern tourists are often at Lybid. No complaints. Older facility but overall it’s well maintained. Premier hotel group mgmt which is a good Ukr chain very near mall and central rr station

Needs some cleaning / modernizing

The good: Very friendly staff. Nice view from rooms on upper floors, good and quiet AC. The bad: Rooms are a bit on the small side and in need of a deep clean or renovation. Water was leaking from the shower cabin onto bathroom floor. Carpet had some stains and room had a distinct smell of stale smoke, which got slightly better with the days (checked another room and it was the same - likely due to increased number of guests from a certain part of the world where non-smoking in rooms is rarely respected). Some street noise, but not too bad. Curtains don't cover the whole window - this was already the case when I stayed here in 2013. Breakfast slipped a lot since then, it used to be good, now it's mediocre. Generally, hotel needs a facelift.

Comfortable hotel
