"It was a nice stay if you want to stay somewhere traditional. We stayed for one night ant the guest house and we wanted the experience. The place didn’t feel clean. We saw French fries and napkins on the floor when we checked in. Overall it was a good stay. The bedding was very comfortable. One of the rooms has a green exit sign which was very bright when you go to sleep. "

"The location was great, easy 5 min walk to subway and bus. Only 15 mins to market and shopping. The room was comfortable and a good size for Japanese standards. It is nice to have a kitchenette and there was free water. We only received 1 towel each and had to ask for extra towels which was not a problem. I asked for an extra pillow and they did not have any, that is a first and very unfortunate since it made my sleeping less comfortable."

"Mikayo Hotel in Kyoto is a fantastic choice for travelers! Its location right across the street from Kyoto Station makes it incredibly convenient for getting around, and it's next door to a mall with a wide variety of shops and food options. The rooms are a good size, offering comfort after a day of exploring. It's the perfect base for sightseeing, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!"
