Absolutely loved our story here. If you book here, get the Sora room. It is worth it. It has its own private bath and lots of space. We loved it. And the town surrounding, is so cute and fun to walk around. It is a short walk from the bus when you arrive. The staff was so welcoming and sweet. We highly recommend staying here.

Great stay in Kusatsu
Posted 12 Mar 2024 on HotelsMy two adult sons and daughter in law and I were very happy with our overnight at Hanaingen. We arrived an hour early for checkin but we were greeted warmly with wonderful local sweets and macha. The traditional tatami rooms had comfortable beds plus the usual modern hotel amenities.
The four private Onsen rooms are convenient to access plus you're minutes away from Yubataka and the bus terminal in this very walkable town.
The beautiful breakfast included with the room is another highlight.

Location is excellent, stay was pleasant, 4 separate room hot tub spring baths were excellent 👍 if only bed not too soft and old, this will be a 5 stars gem.

Central located lodging with 4 private onsen you can use during your stay. Comes with Welcome tea & sweets and Healthy breakfast. Friendly staff.
