Special, warm ryokan stay
Posted 4 Apr 2024 on HotelsWe absolutely loved our stay. The setting was gorgeous. The onsens were so lovely. The food was great and the service was warm and friendly. We would highly recommend it. My only issue was that the bed and and pillow were both very hard.

The service of the staff is impeccable!! They greeted us cheerfully right from the moment we arrived. All the staff are very helpful and made us feel at home right away! The food was delicious and the portions were generous!! We strongly recommend this place!!

Absolutely lovely ryokan in Kurokawa Onsen. It is located fairly centrally, right by the bus stop and a short walk to the main shopping area. We booked a room with a private onsen. It was beautiful, spacious, and immaculately clean. Meals were served in the room, and we were given a choice of the time we wanted to have them. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The baths were lovely, with both an indoor and outdoor open air portion. They are tattoo friendly. The staff were all very kind and welcoming.

Great stay overall. Food was excellent and onsen was great. There’s private onsen available for reservation and it’s free. Staff were very courteous and helpful. There’s nothing around the ryokan so don’t expect to have a shopping street there.
