Movenpick is an amazing resort! I spent a week there with my wife and two children ages 13 and 11. We stayed in a sunrise overwater villa with pool. This was our first trip to Maldives and it did not disappoint. The overwater villa is everything we had imagined. It had a glass floor when you walk in that looks through to crystal clear water below. There is a glass window in front of you looking out to the pool. There is a massive bathroom to the left with a shower that has the ocean next to it. The master bedroom was great. The outdoor area by the pool amazing. There are 3 places to eat. You have the main buffet which we ate at a couple on nights. There is latitude 5.5 which is Mediterranean where we had lunch everyday. And there is bodumas which is Japanese. I would highly recommend full board as the food was great and very good value for money. We had a la carte lunch everyday and a la Carte dinner at both latitude 5.5 and bodumas. There is a jetty where the dive centre is where you just jump off and snorkel which we did everyday. We saw reef sharks, two turtles and plenty of colourful fish. There is a couple of tennis courts where we had a family hit of tennis. There was a table tennis table and darts. They have water sports. The staff are all extraordinarily friendly. I would highly recommend this resort.

We had a fantastic time . The staff went above and beyond to take care of our needs. The 3 restaurants were amazing , food is 5 star . They treated us as family. Chippe at onu , Imda at bodumas , Wesley the buggy driver , queenlie at onu, salim and the list can go on . I have been to Europe , Middle East , subcontinent but this has to be the best vacation we had . The hospitality is just another level . The blue water is just a treat to eyes . Will be back . Our host Larina was awesome .

Shadwa was our host and she was fantastic, she responded in a timely mannner, was informative, and made the experience feel that much better! She booked messages, activities, and picked us up whenever and wherever we requested.The resort was absolutely stunning and a perfect vacation destination! We will definitely be returning visitors !

This was the most pleasant resort either of us have ever been to. The staff was incredibly accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay an absolute pleasure. My wife is vegan and has food allergies. Chef Serini greeted us at every meal and he cooked separate dishes for her at every meal. The food at the restaurants was all delicious and there was plenty of it. But for Sirini to go out of his way and cook something special for my wife at every meal was an incredibly special thing and he was so unbelievably nice and also excited that he could try new stuff for her.
Our plane was met at the arrival area and we were greeted by staff with music and a drink. Our host then brought us to our villa which was air conditioned, over the water and had a plunge pool with amazing views of the ocean. The resort itself is smaller but big enough to make you feel like you have a lot of privacy and space to be on your own. The staff at all the restaurants, the cleaning crew, and all the rest of the staff were super nice and treated us like royalty. I can’t complement the resort enough. If you go to the Maldives, give yourself the best gift you can and stay at Movenpick
