"Hotel is situated in a beautiful park. Very central and walkable distance to Queen street, K’road and other busy areas. Hotel is dated, but mostly well maintained. Our aircon in the room didn’t work but we were provided with an electric fan. The main pool was green for our two day stay. Reception staff very friendly and helpful."

"We felt welcome from the moment we walked into the reception. Customer service is grest. The room was exceptionally clean and stocked with basic needs. We were able to go for a walk later on around the area. Restaurant and supermarket were next door as well. We enjoyed our stay and will surely be back. Highly recommend "

"This is a newly built apartment hotel. The rooms are small but clean. My husband enjoyed the gym.It is just at the edge of Parnell centre. Our check in was easy. Free parking on the street over the weekend. "

Great Choice and Getting Better

"This hotel is very new, the property and staff are excellent! The eco program is great and well rewarded to participants…yet the new shower heads are not water savers!! The related hotel architects and Auckland codes, boohoo. The room cleaning and amenity restocking clarified/coordinated for “late” risers has been interesting. Regardless, this new hotel is excellent. Highly Recommended."

Holiday Inn Express Auckland City Centre, an IHG Hotel

"The Holiday Inn Express was a great hotel, right in middle of all the action we wanted. The breakfast was beyond good, variety and quality. The only issue we had was we ordered a pizza from the reception, in hotel menu and it was awful, and very expensive for what we received. In Vancouver the Holiday Inn Express where we always stay when we’re traveling offers complimentary tea and coffee. We were charged $5 for a cup of lukewarm black tea. Not impressed!! The staff were very accommodating!! Thanks you !"

"Love this place. Of all the Holiday Inns I've stayed in worldwide (many), this is my favorite! Clean, quiet, comfortable with great staff, food options, amenities, and I'm delighted to see the shift away from single-use plastics and other sustainability-oriented features. Thank you!"

"Rooms are extremely tiny. There's barely space to walk around the bed, but that was all we needed for half a night while waiting for our flight home. The room was clean and comfortable. The shuttle bus took less than 5 mins to get to the international airport drop off area and runs every 20 mins, 24 hours a day. Free for kids and $6 for adults, so super handy. I would definitely stay there again in preparation for an early morning flight."
