"We are from US. This hotel’s room is simple but it has everything you need and it is very clean! I have stayed in higher star hotels in US and we don’t get the cleanliness and service and we still tipped even when the service at the US hotel was non existent. In Japan, no tipping and we get great service. The free breakfast at Comfort Hotel was good too. "

"I booked this hotel because a friend of mine recommended it based on its proximity to Kumamoto Castle. Boy was I surprised by how awesome this place was. Nice decor, large rooms (not Japanese roooms, regular sized rooms) with plenty of space and a comfortable bathroom. The property didn’t feel dated at all and the staff were all terrific.
