Pros: location and price
Cons: Humidity in the room and the noise
Its a small room with a tiny bathroom included. Captain america was fun but not the loud music until 23 am of the pub below. Regina, the person that works there is very nice and helpful

Posted 6 Jan 2018The place is right behind Pullman and in the same block as the Cottage Bar. This place is very close to Top Spot where you can have good sea food. Overall very pleasant stay.

Pros: nothing really lady was friendly and helpful when we moved out
Cons: sound proofing, bathrooms lounge area ans reception facilities
Location: good location near to food and karaoke bar if that is your thing
arrived to find us locked out as staff had gone to airport to collect someone. left hanging around in dingy stairwell til a guest let us in. Eventually let into our room with the complementary ear plugs to try and lessen some of the impact from the late night karaoke bar downstairs
Shared bathroom was a shower over the toilet so constantly wet and no wear to get dressed no proper sink facilities
Room was clean and bright but cramped and just too noisy
Not recommended except if you are a very desperate backpacker. Friendly staff though

The room is good for the price and there was a nice courteous lady who was very keen in giving us directions and recommendations. She also brought us to the bus stop herself (!) from where we cought our bus to Bako National Park.

We had a great time at hero hostel. The only downside is that the rooms don't have windows.
