Two fire alarm in 5 days and maintenance activities during staying create trouble to me

Fortunately, the alarms were triggered by guests cooking in their rooms, causing smoke, and the fire department gave us the all-clear to let everyone back in after a few minutes.Regarding the construction works, we deeply regret the disturbance they caused. Although the works are not in our building, we understand the inconvenience they brought, particularly during your visit to Berlin for medical reasons. The location was very good there was an underground right outside and a bus stop down the road. I would note that the under ground is under the hotel so it can be very noisy. No workers to greet you. Don’t think I saw a worker the entire time I was there. You check in yourself, you do everything via WhatsApp. No human touch at all. The room smelt like sewage and carpet was hard. You have pay for your room to be cleaned which I thought was stupid and should be included in your bill. Doors did not have any chains on and as a female made me feel unsafe.

We operate fully digitally, allowing our guests more independence and flexibility during their stay. While we don’t have a physical reception or on-site staff, our Guest Experience team is available 24/7 through WhatsApp, phone, email, or chat and is always ready to assist with any concerns or questions.Regarding the room cleaning, we focus on sustainability by offering cleaning services upon request for shorter stays, with free cleanings scheduled for longer stays of more than 7 nights. We also regret the issue with the sewage smell and the carpet, which are certainly not up to our usual standards. As for the security of our rooms, we’d like to reassure you that our PIN-based access system is completely safe and carefully controlled. Thank you again for your valuable input—it helps us improve. Only thing we would say was the ventilation in the bathroom wasn’t great. Apart from that couldn’t fault it, clean, comfortable and great location.

Clean room, great location by a subway station. But also walkable too.
