Perfect for exploring Krakow
Posted 8 Jul 2019 on HotelsGreat location close to the old city, railway station, restaurants and shops. Also close to tram and bus. Ideal for exploring Krakow. The apartment is nice and modern with all amenities you would and wouldn’t need. Parking is nearby - free only during the weekend. Between 10:00 and 20:00 it is charged.

To start out with the positives, the apartment is immaculate. Modern, bright, clean.. exactly as the pictures look. Contact with Alex (the owner I presume?) is very easy. The apartment is right beside the main shopping centre and around 10/15 minutes walk to the square. There is a food stall outside which is open 24/7, which we always stopped at on our way back from the bars.
They offer to stock your room with food, drink etc which we thought was a nice offering. They also organised a tour for us last minute to Auschwitz with a fantastic tour guide for a good price.
The negatives.. we got in to the apartment and it was 28 degrees at 11pm at night. We messaged the owner and she advised it was because the shutters were left open. There are no instructions for the thermostat, we googled how to fix it, and eventually managed to find the cool setting.. it didn’t help. The room for 3 days, remained at 26/27 degrees. It was unbearable and the owner didn’t help us at all. You couldn’t stay in there for anything but sleeping.. which we only managed by having the electric fan on a chair at the bottom of the bed. If you’re planning your trip in a hotter month, do not stay here.
It is in a dodgy looking building, but we knew this when we booked so it didn’t bother us too much. The walk to the square becomes a bit much, and the majority of the time we ordered an Uber to save time.
If you do not choose to pay for a food package, there is absolutely nothing in the apartment. No water, br

Hello, thank you for your review. In the apartment was warm - becouse in poland was almost 40 degree, we are having exceptional hot now. You chose apartment without the AC, but you had a huge fan inside. Yes, we advised you to put down the shutters during a day - this is what you do when the temperature is high and they open them when it is cool. We could not do more for you - it is just hot in Poland. Also i told you thermostat is just for heating - so there is no option of cooling the apartment, you chose one without the AC. The building is authentic polish tenement, some guests are looking for this. (But if you are not looking for this, we have apartments also on Lubicz17a - in new luxury complex, also you will find apartments with AC there.) The location is perfect - you are not staying on the main square where you hear parties and crowds - but in distance you can do the short walk but you can rest properly. Around the corner there is bus station and railway station, and hude shopping mall - Galeria Krakowska. There is no reason to use uber or bus/tram. It is really close, it is old town district. Also if you travel a lot, you know that there is nothing in the fridge when you come to the apartment. We offered previously some payed packs but now we decided to leave it. Downstairs you have few grocieries, and the apartment is just a single flat - in high standard, very new. We modernize apartments ourselfs to make it most comfortable - all flats are fresh and new, in genial location. Glad you enjoyed the tour - it is truely something special in our offer. Regards

Property in a good location and well equiped comfortable and warm. If I am honest I have to say it was let down by a few maintenance issues. The toilet seat needed repairing as it was broke andmoved around quite a bit. The tap in the kitchen sink needed tightening. Other than that, if these things could be sorted, I would definately go back.

Crazy about Krakow
Posted 21 Dec 2018 on HotelsKrakow is a beautiful city and we really enjoyed having a nice apartment to return to at the end of the day. It's very close to the train station, bus station, and a small corner market. You have to walk down a sketchy ally to get in, but we always felt safe. The apartment was spacious and had a nice large bathroom with a washing machine (no dryer). We had three people and the one who slept on the sofa said it wasn't the best, but not the worst. It doesn't pull out like a sofa bed, you sleep on the cushions. We visited in October and the weather was very nice for the windows to be open. Because it's on an ally, there was not much traffic noise. Aleksandra was super helpful and responded quickly to all my emails answering questions before we arrived. She met us when we arrived and is always close if you need something. She booked our tour to Auschwitz which is a must see. We also requested for the fridge to be stocked with food and after 3 days we ended up leaving some behind. There was plenty, and we enjoyed making snacks and breakfast there in our well stocked kitchen. One thing was a little confusing. There must be two similar streets and one of our drivers for a tour we booked through Viator was waiting on a different street. After a while, we had to call and clarify our location to the driver and off we went. We really enjoyed our time in Krakow. The people, food, and architecture are all fantastic. I'm a travel agent and hope to return someday.

What a wonderful wonderful apartment and extremely good value for money. This rates as one of the best apartments we have stayed in across Europe. Well situated for touring Krakow central and close to Krakow shopping mall which has everything you need. Well equipped apartment with two bedrooms, one double and one twin, a well appointed bathroom and kitchen/diner/lounge. Both bedrooms have Flat screen TV and Cable and the lounge area boasts a 50" screen with cable, Xbox and Chromecast.
Wifi included which was very good speed. Kitchen well appointed. The entire apartment, which is housed within a typical central European tenement building, was finished to a high standard and is very comfortable and very warm which is a bonus when you come in from -5 walks.
Would stay here again no questions asked. Agents are very accommodating and pleasant nothing is too much trouble. They arranged our transfers for us as well and that was also very good value.

Really close to the station, sometimes too close as you hear the tanoy announcements all night. The apartment was on the 2nd floor and the communal area wasnt the most inviting place.
The apartment itself was good but closely priced with other more modern apartments complexes with swimming pool facilities.

Hello, thank you for your feedback. The apartment is really central located, in original, old polish building. It is centre of the Kraków, and there is no complexes with pool facilities here to compare the prices too, also probably you mean hotel, but we are Apartments - so single flats around the city centre. Just the modern complex near by - Browar Lubicz where we also have apartments, but the price is also 30% higher than on bosacka. So this kind of compromise between the perfect location, and high standard apartment( totally new) and low price but in not modern building. In some distance you hear the announcements - maybe, but there is no street voices or traffic voices - even it is strict centre of kraków, so again - the compromise. It is hard to stay in the centre and not here the voices of the city.

Lovely
Posted 31 Oct 2018 on HotelsThe apartment was down a dark side street in a old building which was a bit off-putting but otherwise it was exactly as pictured and lovely inside. The host was very helpful as well.

Inside the apartment was lovely and modern and bery clean. The building itself was a bit scary, as were the stairways. The location was okay, but wasn't very central. Was good value for the price though and the staff at City Light Apartments were incredibly helpful
