I loved the location of this property. I could walk to the town center and feel safe doing it. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance. The room was very comfortable and the staff was very helpful. I would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. Our room was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and polite. The only small criticism I have is we only had 2 robes and 2 cups when there are 3 of us and one of the robes was ripped.

A wonderful hotel in a brilliant location. Although some of the decor felt a little gawdy I couldn’t knock the cleanliness or overall presentation. My single room was spacious and fitted with a queen size bed. It was situated on the top floor but was a quick walk up the stairs so hogging the lift wasn’t necessary. Small provisions were provided such as shampoo, sewing kit, bottle of water, etc. There was a safe in the wardrobe but unfortunately it wouldn’t allow me to change the passcode, however, had I really been bothered I have no doubt a member of staff would have helped. There was an orangery on the first floor with free hot beverages available at all times. This was a lovely bright air conditioned room where I could kill short periods of time between outings. Breakfast was basic but there were hot and cold options available. The staff I met were some of the friendliest and welcoming I have ever encountered in hospitality. Warm, helpful, just brilliant. Hotel Wawel’s location is brilliant. So much within walking distance and plenty of transport options nearby. The road itself is peaceful and doesn’t attract too much traffic or footfall. If or when I return to Krakow I wouldn’t hesitate to book Hotel Wawel again.

The hotel was lovely and in a fantastic location within the town and easy to walk to places of interest. The staff were very nice and helpful with any requests that I asked for. There was reasonably good choice of things to eat for breakfast (which sounds better than some of the other hotels I heard about). This becomes the Black Duck restaurant in the evening, which is where we ate the first night. Good food and such lovely friendly staff. I loved the fact that you can get yourself a coffee in the morning and hot chocolate to take to your room at bedtime, from the self service machine on the first floor. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Lovely rooms, with great atmosphere and next to a great street. Near Wawel Castle, very walkable. There was a slightly odd smell near my room (308) but didnt detract from the experience. Heavily recommend
