It was a nice property to get away. It is a little older but they looked to be always working on the maintenance and upkeep.
You are alone with no other properties or town near by unless you take the monkey trail over to the town around the mountain. Lots of steps / steep steps by very manageable.
Make sure to double check any reservations that you might make to be sure they were made properly, we had a couple that were not correct and must have been lost in translation.
Jeff at the front desk did a nice job.

Overall the stay was great. Only negative is that there is no late checkout.

Everything was GREAT! Getting familiar with the boat and pier schedule is helpful because walking monkey trail everyday could get tiring. The breakfast buffet was good too but unfortunately I got food poisoning from a pork plate that was being served.

Amazing location on a gorgeous private beach surrounded by 200’ limestone cliffs, with plenty of dining and shopping opportunities just on the other side of monkey hill.
The property is starting to show its age as it is getting ready to go through a major overhaul, but the rooms are large with great balconies and amazing views.

Property was OK but misrepresented. Maybe my fault for not investigating.Only boat transport, inconvenient .Staff was young, inexperienced and although very cordial just not trained in hospitality especially for a 5(?) star hotel.A lot of moving parts that were not explained to me, the staff pushed me into the app which was far from seamless for me(senior not terribly computer savvy), room size was not represented correctly , there was much of the room outside as an enclosure, not in the actual room.TV not always working,..Small blood stain on my sheet , food not bad but limited as was alcohol selection, beach OK but not Phuket pristine,Overall for a younger crowd who Iare looking for a secluded getaway. Not for a senior couple who wants a little more selection,convenience and graciousness.
