Used expedia because official website gave conflicting information. Didn't know about other website. Great staff attitude. Helped with luggages upon arrival. (note checkin staff mentioned connecting rooms would be available once I come back. Not reality. At least Novotel Citygate is the only checkin staff to tell the truth upon checkin.) Complete google form to give contact information, agree to $10 amenities, sign up for hotel program to complete checkin. Security/Safety: Hotel key required to access elevator floors. Security/staff stationed near elevator night-morning. Hallway well let. Rooms & washrooms are aging. This is a motel. Surprised by bug on the table. Filmed and shared with concierge. Requested room be cleaned early. Concierge apologized. Great location as base camp for Hong Kong: Currency exchange, Next to Tsim Sha Tsui exit N5 (stairs) to get to AMP mall, Mong Kok, Jordan, Temple Street, Peninsula, harbour, The peaks. Travel disrupted with T8 Typhoon Signal. Needed to stay extra night. Staff recommended book online for better rates. Show the confirmation # for same type of room will extend current room for extra day. No need to change room. Great near by eats: Log Ye Dim Sum, Something wild – the farm, Café de Coral

The property was near an MTR station and lots of shops/restaurants nearby

The view from my room left me feeling unimportant. My room was 1119 and though the room itself was pleasant, when opening up the curtains to see into residential property windows and the garbage in the alley below was my last expectation

The business executive lounge was not as good, as the breakfast options were very limited
