Located at the fringe of the city, the Holiday Inn Express is a very quiet hotel. The hotel and the rooms were clean, the queen-sized bed plus the pillows were very comfortable and provided restful sleep. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the same typical Malaysian food everyday. Could have been better if there was variation especially for me who stayed there for 6 days. Nearby, there were a few seafood restaurants. Transport to the nearby city centre and shopping outlets is easily available by Grab.

Cheerful, efficient and helpful staff. The housekeeping staff kept the room clean and provided fresh sheets every day. Coffee bar was replenished every day. The front office staff were cheerful, friendly and knowledgeable. Check-in and check-out accomplished within 5 minutes.
Breakfast spread was sufficiently comprehensive. Just need to replenish finished items promptly during peak period. Good spread of bread, pastries and kuih kuih.
The hotel could do with 24-hour room service for late arriving guests.
It was a very pleasant 4-day stay at this hotel.
