I love the room, spacious and comfy! The parking lots are well lit so i feel safe to come home (to the hotel) late at night. Complete and clean kitchen utensils. Fast service and friendly staff

I would have rate this hotel highly for - location - helpful receptionist - ambivenince But too tight with towels and amenities- offer a swimming pool without the towels n amenities to clean after a swim in pool- very inconvenient only a 'open air facility. Leaking shower and shower floor flood and very slippery after every shower. Need to fix leaks and flooding floor. Stringent with fresh towels when we need replacement as the used ones were used to soak up wet floor to avoid accident due to wet floor.

Friendly helpful staff - being a non veggie the restaurant served the best vegetarian meal I have ever tasted. Good sized rooms. Convenient for airport and cheap taxi ride to waterfront bars and restaurants would definitely stay again.

Not very happy stay
The toilet's floor is flat so when take shower or wash body the water will splash on the floor and it didn't flow away,it accumulated water at every way in toilet even flow to the kitchen,it is wet all the time. I have 3 children I'm afraid they fell down so I'm mopping the floor from day to night when it is wet,it makes me very tired. From the beginning of check in till check out only 1 staff greet me. The hotel chef barbecue the foods beside the swimming pool it makes a lot of smoke,we all feel uncomfortable with it.

Pleasant Surprise!
I discovered this hotel through Expedia. Attracted to the kitchen and 2 bedrooms suite, as well as the price. I have been to Kota Kinabalu many times for work now, and this is the first time I stayed in a suite, at reasonable price. The hotel shares the lobby, lifts and car parks with SKY Hotel. In fact they both are in the same building. I am not sure how to tell which is SKY and which is Borneo Vista aisle. Well, it does not matter. Let just say, follow the room number. The room is generally clean. The bed is really comfortable, I slept really well. It is not really close to food places, neither the convenient store. You need like 10mins walk to the nearest. Also, there is no walk way, pretty much, walk at your own risk. Room has no study nor work desk, kind of a let down.

Recommended for those who have big family
Nice condition with nice staff. However, the pool is too small with limited area which is not suit for the children at all. The location is near to the shopping complex (times square kk) and restorant.
