"I came here 12 years ago and visited again recently. It's a fantastic resort, and I will be back again. We like the ocean tower for the views and the adult pool for peace and quiet. Walking through the whole resort is very easy, does not take much time, and is very scenic. Facilities are clean and well cared for. "The rooms could use a little upgrade. There should be more chairs in the shade for free. All the good chairs are reserved. You shouldn’t have to pay for a shaded seat. For the cost of the room, you should get snorkel equipment for more than one hour. Other than that, I loved the property. Staff was excellent and the dining was great too. "

"Great property for families with kids. Lots of amenities and options to fill your day. While it’s a 30 min drive from Kona, we preferred to stay in Waikoloa Village with the access to the various pools, salt water lagoon, watching dolphins, access to beach, kids club, etc. "

Good job. * Room was nice with good view (oceanfront). * Very friendly and helpful staff - from front desk to pool service and room service. Everyone were nice and cheerful. Few improvement areas: * During busy hours it was struggle to get hot water from the shower or sink. * Only 1 restaurant with very expensive prices. Unfortunately, this time around we felt that drinks quality has gone down. Food was OK but not as amazing as we had in the spring. That said, Christmas buffet was very good and forth the money. * Service in restaurant and pool bar was often slow - we waited once 1 hour from sitting to until we got our burgers (during lunch). "
