A complete disappointment
Posted 5 Aug 2024 on HotelsThis was marketed as a place for a quiet stay. A great opportunity for some peace and quiet. Until it became a raucous wedding venue on our fourth night there. Considerable loss of amenity for other guests, no warning of it, loud music and voices until 2:15am. A conga line of complaining sleepless guests at the desk the next morning. A manager that went missing and left the reception staff to deal with it. Do not stay here. No concierge. No air conditioning in rooms. A fine dining restaurant that seemed to specialise in hamburgers. Great views.

Hotel Koldingfjord was fantastic, impressive, beautiful, peaceful, and more. I wish we spent more time here. I fell in love with Denmark in part because of Hotel Koldinfjord. I definitely want to return.
The hotel was going through some construction improvements, but it did not take away from or joy in being there. If anything, it will make our next visit even more enjoyable.
