Amazing staff, amazing food, restaurants and pools are first class. Good Service over all. Beware that the property is very spread out and also removed from island life. Good if you want to get away from it all and isolate yourself. Long distances between your room and the restaurants. Unless you like to walk a lot, you need to call a buggy to get picked up, which usually arrives pretty fast. Only real let-down is there is only one tiny sandy and usable beach for the entire place (the rest is all rocks). For Koh Samui the beach is unattractive and uninviting. They maintain the hotel part of beach (about 30-40 meters}, but if you go for a walk on the other 150 meters or so, it bis littered with trash and plastic bottles, very unappetizing. With the cheap labour in Thailand it would cost next to nothing to send 2 guys a few times a week to collect the trash. So don't come for the beach here, but everything else is pretty spectacular.

Bad smelling in the whole property.
Very noisy in room air conditioning.
Pillows all different type and not comfortable at all.

Six Senses Samui is amazing. Friendly and accomodating staff, private very comfy villas, great food. The location is exquisite with pools overlooking the ocean both in the service areas and private villas. Drift bar and dining is the bomb when it comes to all day swimming at the beach or relaxing by the pool in the sun and being spoilt by the Drift staff. SS is a must for those seeking a luxurious relaxing get away.

The property adopts a very good concept to be in good harmony with the nature! The ocean view from the villa, restaurants and the spa is spectacular. All staff members are friendly and helpful. To enable this hotel to stay competitive, the facilities such as the toilet and faucet can be renovated. The food quality of the restaurants can also be improved.

Six Senses Samui, we fell in love...again!

Cleanliness, eco-friendly, staff, food, and location, all top notch...can't say enough about it...we are planning a return visit next year! Marieke Dijkhuis, the general manager and the food manager were always accessible and visible multiple times during the day. They were truly interested in our thoughts about the quality of service, food and atmosphere. The Gems and or butlers were very personable and always somehow knew what we might need in advance of our knowing...amazing! The cleaning staff always did an impeccable job and with a smile. The spa, oh the spa...marvelous... Coy, our masseuse is very proficient and professional at her trade...Oh and let's not forget the buggy drivers... always at our door in a matter of seconds so they could zip us to wherever we needed to go. We enjoyed every second of our stay...can't wait until we meet again!!
