The staff was very nice and helpful. The property is okay but is starting to show its age. The view out to the pacific is fantastic, the spa was great but the food is limited and the chef focuses on presentation rather than taste. The pools were clean and not crowded.

Perfect!

We last visited the Renaissance in 2020 and this visit surpassed all our expectations. To be met on arrival by familiar faces (Chin, thank you for making our visit so special) and as everyone mentions, all of the staff are so amazing, helpful and brilliant. We just wanted to relax and enjoy the great location, the beautifully maintained gardens, and the pool/beach area. Across the hotel, it is so easy to fall into the relaxed vibe, ably helped by the amazing Zee and the pool bar team, and of course Gift and Beam covering breakfast. A special mention has to go to the 4pm cocktails on the beach - there is no better way of starting the evening in such beautiful surroundings! We split our stay between the deluxe rooms and a beachfront villa, and whilst the deluxe rooms are really good, the view from the sea front villa was simply breathtaking. Thank you team Renaissance for giving us a perfect holiday!

It was our first time in Samui and the Renaissance property, which we chose based on overall ratings and the location with access to a private lagoon-type beach. Great overall experience with friendly staff and delicious restaurant choices. Special shoutout to the front office manager, Budsarin (BUD) Boonwan! We will definitely return for more stays in the future. Thank you, Marriott, for sharing this hidden gem with us all!
