Off da beaten path
Posted 19 Feb 2020 on HotelsSurprisingly decent, in an alley off da road. For local tours check out Bonus fravel a cquple blocks away. They will also tell yu abt a real good euro restaurnat neaby. The only downside is ...no hot water, so if yu can handle that...dis is yur place.

Great little hotel, rooms are massive, have a fridge and there is a pool on site.
It is on a very quiet area walking distance to the beach and restaurants.
They can arrange any transfers you need, and there is a tour company " Bonus Travel " close by that will gladly help with anything you need.

Good value budget hotel in Mae Nam.
Posted 10 Mar 2019 on Hotels Very clean, large room and for what I paid to simply have a bed, bathroom and airconditioner was adequate. Having said that it was little more than that, no hotwater, kettle, blackout or english TV channels. There was a small shallow pool which again was a bonus at this price. There was a sign in the room saying no eating in the room, which should be removed, as that is bizarre and unreasonable. The bed was quite uncomfortable and there was bad chicken noise throughout the night. The property delivers on expectations, if can be purchased at the lowest end of the private room market. I did move to a better room in the middle of Chaweng for the same price, however, that was an exceptional bargain. The operators of Coco are exceedingly friendly and helpful, on balance I'm happy I stayed for a brief visit, not a place I'd stay for long, just 2 nights to go to nearby immigration office.

Great value, lovely people!
Posted 6 Feb 2019 on HotelsCoco House is a small, family run guesthouse with 9 spacious, extremely good value, clean rooms all with A/C and mini fridge. So it already ticks most of my boxes, but the icing on the cake is the tranquil garden area and the small swimming pool. The family are very welcoming and young Parn has excellent English. Mae Nam beach is a few minutes walk down the lane and across the main road that encircles the island and the “walking street” (full of restaurants and, on Thursdays a weekly night market) about 10 minutes away. We enjoyed our stay so much that we returned for our last few days and really recommend this little gem.

Great hosts - Nice cheap stay
Posted 23 Aug 2018 on HotelsCheap and cheerful, only 10 min walk to the beach and 10 minute taxi into the main nightlife area. The host was very nice and friendly and even gave us a lift to the ferry port on the morning that we checked out. Very very helpful!

Koh Samui
Posted 15 Jan 2014 on HotelsHotel room was large and was clean. The owners were friendly and helped me arrange a taxi pickup. There could be better signage, as I drove around trying to find it for almost an hour! Overall, I would I've this 2.5-3 stars out of 5. Based on an average hostel/guesthouse type accommodation. No bugs, and there was water provided in the room for drinking.
