I had a great stay at chaweng regent resort, the service was outstanding. May, the manager, was especially helpful and made our experience memorable. Highly recommend this hotel!

Good hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean. Good size bathroom. Nice balcony overlooking the pool. Two good sized pools. Beach good. A little rocky at low tide. Can be noisy at night due to beach bar a few doors up,

Location is great, staff are very helpful and go out of their way to help you. Room is spacious and nice. Breakfast was good as well. Directly on the beach. Downside near the airport and near by clubbing in the a.m. woke me up twice.

Very disappointed with the stay. Booked based on the pictures which don’t reflect the reality.
Hotel is in a very busy area.
We paid a premium price so expected the price to match what we paid for. We paid £1200 for 9 nights from 24th June to 3rd July. We checked out some of the hotels nearby to compare. We could have stayed at Elephant Beach Club & Resort or Ark Beach Club & resort for only £500 for 9 nights. Those also looked more modern. So definitely Chaweng Regent is over charging.
As another comparison we went and checked out the Hyatt Regency as well which is a 5 star hotel. That hotel is in a more quieter place and the 9 night stay would have cost only £1700 which is more worth it.
I’m very disappointed about the price paid vs quality of the hotel. This hotel should be in the same price range as Elephant Beach Club & Resort or Ark Beach Club & resort which are only 3 star hotels.
