The staff are all very friendly and helpful. There’s conscience stores right around the corner. And nice restaurants such as the “Lucky elephant” right across the street. And the beach is a six minute walk away. We had an amazing stay here!

Nice rooms close to the beach.

Pros: Hotel staff.
Cons: Internet could be more reliable.
Location: Close to the beach and local restaurants.
Everything was excellent, the staff, the room, just sometimes in the evenings, internet didn't work.

Very good for the price

Posted 7 Jan 2018
We came to stay for one night and ended up booking for 4, we had the villa room, which was a mini suite with a bedroom. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and it’s only a 2 min walk to the beach, 7-11-family Mart, and restaurants. The room was very clean and the furniture was nice, the only thing we can complain about is that the mattresses are extremely hard, however mattresses are hard just about anywhere you go in Thailand, especially at this price.

Poor hotel, worse location. Don't go to Lamai.

Posted 30 Mar 2017 on Hotels
A long walk to Lamai town. Noisy, next to the main road. Noisy fridge. Smelly, damp bathroom with no fan, and the shower didn't drain and became a 5cm deep pool. Poor even for Thailand. I can't believe there were good reviews. Lamai itself is disgusting. Worst tourist trap I've seen in Thailand. Massage, girl bars, tattoos, and outrageously overpriced food, not to mention everywhere serves 'European food'. There is nothing authentic or idyllic about Lamai. Also the beach was really ordinary. Chaweng didn't seem better. I left Samui first thing in the morning for Phangan. Very disappointed.

Lovely stay

My boyfriend and I booked here as our first hotel in Lamai, Koh Samiu. This place is lovely! The rooms are very clean and big. This hotel is deffinately a 4 start place! The owners are absolutely lovely. It's a 2 minute walk to the beach and a 15 minute walk into the centre of Lamai. The hotel is just off the main road (no traffic noise travelled down though) and a couple of restaurants nearby which were nice (literally on the main road). Hired a moped off the owners which was convenient. Would 100% be our first choice of hotel as the price for what we got was incredible. Clean towels, air con, room cleaning. Gorgeous little ginger cat running around to top it off!

L'accès à la plage est peu pratique, soit passer au travers les hotels ou faire le tour et emprunter la route principale toute proche mais très fréquentée donc bruyante.

Great place!

Friendly Staff. They were very helpful. We stayed on the 2nd floor and it had it's own balcony which gave us a chance to have some nice chat with the guests on the next room. It also had s drying rack for swimsuits. You have to walk a little to go to the beach. Maybe around 200m or bit more. We didn't find out too inconvenient though. We had a great time!
