"This is a great hotel on the waterfront in Fort Kochi. It is a marvellous restoration of this old boatyard to create a very colonial feel. There are some nice touches to take advantage of such as high tea at 5pm each day followed by a guided tour of the harbour on the hotel’s very nice boat. All the staff were excellent but I give particular thanks to Arun who could not do enough for us. "There’s no doubt this is a beautiful historical old hotel, rooms are comfortable and have lots of original features! Good aircon and comfortable beds. However it does need a little love and attention- could definitely do with a bit of renovation (there were some works going on whilst we were there) nothing major and it didn’t inconvenience us at all) so maybe in a few months improvements will show.
