"This is a great hotel on the waterfront in Fort Kochi. It is a marvellous restoration of this old boatyard to create a very colonial feel. There are some nice touches to take advantage of such as high tea at 5pm each day followed by a guided tour of the harbour on the hotel’s very nice boat. All the staff were excellent but I give particular thanks to Arun who could not do enough for us. I was also highly impressed with the hotels very real efforts to eliminate the use of plastics an recycle...

"This is an extraordinary hotel, a colourful and unique oasis in the middle of bustling kochi. The rooms were beautiful and large and cool with a hot shower and comfortable beds. The pool and communal areas were also gorgeous and tranquil. Breakfast was fine, a good selection. Staff were great also. The afternoon snacks were delightful and a really appreciated extra. The fresh lime soda from the bar was amazing. It is quite noisy as it is in the middle of the town so cars horns and dog barking...

"Unique, simply and tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Brilliantly located for all the local sites in wonderful Fort Kochi and the ferry terminal. Delightful waterfront restaurant- probably the best location to dine in the city. Watching the boats and ships was a real treat. Extremely helpful staff at the front desk and the band practice next door was a complete treat! Perfect place to start our Indian adventure."

"I booked this property because of "Neemrana" brand, expecting old world charm "experience" with every room being exquisitely designed. The room (Menezes) I was assigned was "OUTSIDE" the main hotel, literally almost at the road with traffic noise, with window not usable. There was no character to the room. The overall experience was like staying in a motel, not in a "Neemrana" branded hotel. I am very disappointed in Neemrana brand. "

"Lovely central hotel - good meals . Beds hard , our second night was extremely noisy from restaurant below. Pool wasn’t working during our stay unfortunately "
