"It was clean, small and adequate for us. The room was very small and just bearly acceptable for 2 people with 2 small pieces of luggage. The balcony was nice but the neighboring hotel was doing some noisy construction work which was aggravating but NOT Golden Moon’s fault! Breakfast was adequate and some selections quite tasty. It’s an ‘all you can eat’ scenario so was sad to see some other guests taking total advantage of the offering and not eating all that was provided. order what you can...

"If your looking for a camping lifestyle then stay here. We stayed in one of the top level A frames and had a wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend to bring your own snacks and drinks as well as food if you are a picky eater or have dietary restrictions as the menu is very limited and there are only certain hours to order food. It is a bit out of the way so be prepared for that but if you want peace and quiet away from the crowds this is the place. Lovely beach practically private to walk...

Great for kids!

"Shout out to David and Tina - the two remarkable folks managing the kids activities. You both made a huge difference to our kids and the overall trip - thanks so much! The hotel is nice - the breakfasts aren't anything you are going to write a review about - but they are fine and varied and not too bad. The restaurant at the beachside pool is very yummy if a bit expensive. Don't miss dinner there with the trio of young ladies singing and the fireshow - lots of fun. The pools were the highlight of the trip! We were happy to be in one of the poolside family suites and it worked really well for us. The downside as others have mentioned were the folks at the front desk - perfunctorily friendly and absolutely unhelpful - don't ask them for anything, don't lose anything, don't have any special requests because it's not going to happen. They may acknowledge an issue, but they won't actually do anything about it. Having said that - it's a nice place with nice people - you'll enjoy it."
