AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Arrived to find a deserted hotel. Initially thought great but then was told no restaurant in low season even though we paid for breakfast. Steep road to cabins which taxi drivers wont drive down and need transport to get everywhere from it, even to a 7/11 which was supposed to be 400m away. Ninas coffee shop was around the corner and lovely. Nina helped us get taxis and said that the hotel has always had problems, no one stays. Aircon was not working in room even though owner said it was. The sea was out quite far to go for a dip and no pool, very picturesque to look out but bitten to shreds, accomodation was poor and not as described. Holes in sheets on bed. Fridge was unplugged so no cold water. When plugged in it sparked very big. Very dangerous. We like staying in cabins on the beach but this was poor. We found luxury accomodation further around the corner for the same price. Dont risk this place. The restaurant was the owners family home with tables on the extended veranda. Was dirty and outdated with her kids sitting on tables. Asked to leave straight away and explained to expedia the situation. The owner became very aggressive telling us she was poor and would not refund. She lied to expedia and refused the refund. Told expedia there was a restaurant and it was open. Appalling service. Expedia honour the hotels over the customers Dont fall into the trap we did with this one. It was clear the owner did not want to open facilities to 2 people.

What nonsense. You decided you didn't want to stay and tried to find an excuse so you wouldn't have to pay. Sorry, but we don't take any responsibility for your change of heart. The reason you are so hysterical is because we enforced our right as a hotel. Our restaurant is open. We have several other guests staying at this time. Our place is very beautiful and cheap... We are glad you found somewhere else. Finally the woman is never aggressive and usually right, as nearly all of our reviews attest.

You were a no-show... meaning you have never set foot on our property. Not sure how you can give a score of 2....Maybe you're angry because you were charged for your stay? That's how things work in this business. If you do not show up, or cancel at the last minute you pay. It's called accountability... you know it?

Great place. Right on the beach. Beautiful. Kind owners. Good breakfast with American style bacon. Good burgers for lunch. All and all a really good experience. Much better than spending a similar amount to be in a shared room at some hostel. Easy motorbike rental bery close by. I will stay here again if I visit this island again.

We really enjoyed our stay at phangang rainbow bungalows. Martin and Noi were lovely hosts and made us feel really welcome. They gave us helpful advise during our stay and easily let us book an extra night. Their beautiful dog Millie gave us endless joy. It is family run and a nice place to be. The bungalows are in a great location, the beach is stunning and your in-between the two main areas. You do need a scooter to get around but you can hire one next door for 200 baht a day. We would definetly stay again. Thank you!

The hosts are super nice and very helpful. Beautiful view, the sandy bay is like a bath tube and would be a safe place to bring small children.

The budget room that you booked is clearly advertised on Expedia as having cold water only. You should have booked a room type that had hot water. You were clearly agitated by something other than our service.
