Not as good at it looks like

We we’re in koh lanta 10 days so we decided to book 5 nights at la chambre and then find another hotel. Upon our arrival, the general manager was nice but didn’t really speak english. When we got to our room it looked "nice" but it was actually really filthy there was literally webs hanging from everywhere on the ceilings and the walls are full of stains. Anyways we paid about 29$ for that hotel room so that’s not that bad but there was also a lot of ants everywhere so you could not leave food unattended nowhere in the room. We didn’t really make a big deal about because this is Thailand and unless you pay alot for your hotel it’s always going to be like that. 5 days passed and we decided to book again since it was really close to downtown and we payed the same price that we first paid so 29$. We were expecting to stay in the same room but we actually got downgraded to a room with a corridor view and literally everything in the room was a downgrade, the shower, the tv no hair dryer and on top of that the fridge wasn’t working well so the manager just took ours and switched it to another room. The whole room again was really filthy but that was our fault of booking again. Also everytime you would go at the front desk no one was there sometimes we had to wait 30-45 min before someone eventually came back and the two lady’s that are there literally cannot speak a single word of english we always had to talk to the owner on the phone because they wouldn’t understand.

The rooms were well maintained and the staff was extremely nice. They even set out umbrellas when it began to rain!

Amazing Hospitality

I stayed here towards the end of a month long stay in Ko Lanta. This is a boutique hotel with a small number of rooms which allows for a very peaceful environment. The room had everything I needed. However what stands out is the service. I had a number of issues getting a transfer off the island. One of the hotel managers geng speaks little English however he would always put me on the phone to his sister Jinny who would help. The last day was a nightmare and thanks to the efforts by both of them I managed to get to the airport on time. It is a family run business and they believe in treated their guests like family. they lovely people and premises and I will always be grateful for everything they did for me.

Great location and very friendly staff. Only small issues were that the bed was very hard and that the air con unit wasn’t very effective. The facilities were modern, it was clean, and we loved Ko Lanta. We’d definitely stay here again!

Nice small hotel

OK for few days, it is near thetown and night market. 2KM away from nearest beach. Nice family operating place

The walls of the room are designed in a dark grey- makes it smaller than it is. The sofa was not of much use- just to put the lagguage on. The shower of the bathroom was not cleaned.

Really nice place rooms were a little small but modern ideal for short stay shops and bars 1minute walk

Nice place

I liked that this place was very clean. Didn't give it a 5 because the bath mat outside the bathroom was obviously not washed. The whole room is concrete and new so easy to keep clean. The room had a kettle, "desk" (t.v. tray), cups and glasses, and nice t.v. with a t.v. box. Sheets and towels were clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very quiet. Would stay here again.

Clean, cozy an de comfortable

The place is small which makes it a lot more personal. The family is lovely, Sweet and always willing to help. The room isn't very espacious and clean. The location is perfect. Close to a lot of places to eat and close to the beach. I highly recommend staying here.
